Consultation

Our experienced and dedicated Sports Physicians are focussed on helping you regain your health from initial examination, diagnosis and throughout your rehabilitation with continuous monitoring.

Pharmacy

Our experienced pharmacist works closely with the doctors in ensuring the correct, safe and effective medications are being prescribed for you. Our pharmacy staff are up-to-date with the latest anti-doping rules and regulations and can advise on the doping status of your medications.

Sports Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Here at PPSN, our experienced team offers evidence-based sports care as well as objective-outcome measures such as isokinetic methods throughout your recovery and rehabilitation period to ensure the shortest and most effective return-to-play.

Sports Massage

Our trained and experienced sports massage therapists will deliver the same level of care given to our elite national athletes. We offer pre-event, post-event and therapeutic sports massage to maximise your sports performance as well as recovery from fatigue and injuries.

Sports Coverage

Good news for all sports event and tournament organisers! We provide expert healthcare professionals with well-equipped sports ambulance services to serve pitch side first aid and immediate medical care needs in sports. National Sports Medicine Centre has long standing experience in high level sports-specific medical coverage services and has internationally recognised in-house medical staff to direct and arrange all levels of competitive sports events.We also offer medical services (doctors, sports physiotherapists and sports massage therapists) to your athletes or sports team travelling to domestic or international tournaments.

Medical Screening

Our medical screening can be done to assess overall and/or pre-participation health in conjunction with advice from our experts to understand and improve your health. In addition, we also offer a range of fitness assessment to help you enhance your sports performance.

Medical Laboratory

Our medical laboratory unit carries out a variety of screening and diagnostic tests on-site. Using latest technology, we deliver fast and accurate test results to assist the diagnostic process or sports wellness assessment.

The National Sports Medicine centre is located on the Ground Floor of the National Sports Institute. Our facilities are disabled-friendly and wheelchair-accessible.

Our one-stop counter provides integrated services for registration, billing and pharmacy. Our friendly counter personnel are ready to assist with any enquiries and the registration process.

LATEST TECHNOLOGY

Radiology

PPSN possesses state-of-the-art screening and diagnostic equipment, notably MRI for extremities, Ultrasound, X-ray as well as DXA. We are proud to be the first institute in Malaysia to have C-Arm DXA machine providing 270 degree scanning for patients. We also have expertise in ultrasound-guided injections such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to promote quicker recovery.
