Mr. Azrul graduated with Diploma in Physiotherapy from University of Teknologi Mara (UITM) in 2004, Bsc of App Rehab in Physiotherapy (Teesside University, 2012) and he just graduated as MSc of Physiotherapy in Musculoskeletal at UiTM (2019).

He started his carrier as a head physiotherapist at renowned medical center in Shah Alam, Selangor for 2 years. He advance his working stint by accepting a post as a head of medical team and  sports physiotherapist with two differentstate levelfootball clubs for another three years. His working carrier continues by joining National Sports Institute of Malaysia in 2009 until now.

At ISN, he was given a trust to lead the physiotherapy team to a number of sports at multi-event Games, such as Team Malaysia at Commonwealth Games in (2010 & 2016) and Sea Games (2011, 2013, 2015 & 2017). Some of his assignment includes Asian Univesiade (2008 & 2012) and World Junior Squash Championship (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018). At present, he was given a task to provide medical services for Sepang International Circuit (SIC) in European MotoGP race.

He hold a post as a Head Unit of Rehabilitation in Sport Rehabilitation Division to look over post-operation athletes and monitor rehabilitation program of returning back to sports abilities and their performance.
